That's actually very close to where I live; I have many friends that belong to that church, including co-workers (one of whom has a son that was shot at that night), a teacher at my sons' school that was wounded, another teacher's husband was the youth choir director who was killed.
I am not Baptist and I really don't like that style of Christianity. Having said that, even before the shootings, Wedgwood Baptist was (and still is) one of the nicest, welcoming churches I've been to.
The forgiveness that is written about in the Star-Tel Gram because they see it as somehow unusual is fully within character for that particular church.
