Noted former atheist George Carlin on religion.
How to be an effective Evangelist (Teller of the Good News):
Watch the video (Rated R for Language).
Agree with it (even where he's wrong, he's right).
Explain to the people you meet how and why it differs from the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I don't understand what you mean. How is he right?
Carlin is right, because every one of his criticisms is absolutely TRUE about the the RELIGION of Christianity, this is what the Constantinian "church" taught him. The reason intelligent people have rejected Christ is that they never met in the churches they were raised in. They may have learned about being a good Roman Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Presbyterian, or other denomination, but they never met Jesus. They saw the hypocrisy, the love of money and power, the sinfulness of the people in ower and the frankly un-Christlike way they told about Jesus.
The majority of Americans don't go to church not because they haven't thought about it. They don't go because they've been to church and lived to regret it.
Point by point, listen to Carlin. Pray about a response to each one of his criticisms. You might see where his criticism and anger are spot on.
