The Top Ten Reasons You Should Attend Alpha:

1. You want to have a closer relationship with Jesus,

2. You know someone who needs a closer relationship to Jesus,

3. You sometimes have doubts or uncertainties about your faith,

4. Bethel is part of the body of Christ, and healthy bodies grow,

5. You can’t always answer your friends’ questions about Christianity,

6. You know someone who is a non-Christian,

7. You know someone who doesn’t have a church home,

8. You are sometimes hesitant to talk to friends, relatives, co-workers, and strangers about what Jesus has done in your life,

9. You want to see the church grow because there is room on your pew,

10. You do not fear the promise of the Father, God’s Holy Spirit.

The Top Ten Reasons You Should Not Attend Alpha:

1. Don’t want to have a closer relationship with Jesus,

2. Don’t know anyone who needs a closer relationship to Jesus,

3. Don’t ever have any doubts or uncertainties about your faith,

4. Believe that everyone who ought to attend Bethel already does,

5. Know all the answers to your friends’ questions about Christianity,

6. Don’t know ANYONE who is a non-Christian,

7. Don’t know anyone who doesn’t have a church home,

8. Have absolutely no hesitation in talking to friends, relatives, co-workers, and strangers about what Jesus has done in your life,

9. Don’t want to see the church grow because strangers might sit in your pew seat,

10. Think that the Holy Ghost is something spooky.
