ReplyDeleteWell, at least you're jotting notes about the Scripture for the day. I have a habit of jotting notes about tasks I need to accomplish during the next week. Sometimes this means reminding myself of good things -- call this long-lost friend, write that essay I've been procrastinating about -- so I'm inclined to think God is nudging me to do the right thing.
I try to limit my notes to less important moments of the service, such as announcements or the offertory.
